• It’s a single malt Scotch whisky from the tiny Isle of Jura — a remote island in Scotland’s Inner Hebrides.
• The whisky is matured for 18 years: first in American white-oak ex-bourbon barrels, then finished in Bordeaux red-wine barriques (Premier Grand Cru Classé) from France — which helps give it complexity and fruitiness.
• Alcohol content: 44 % ABV (88 proof).
