BELLA UNION CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2022

Bella Union is a Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon from the 2022 vintage, produced by the Far Niente family. It’s a blend anchored in Cabernet Sauvignon with small percentages of other Bordeaux-varieties (e.g. Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petit Verdot). This wine was aged 18 months in French oak, about half of which is new, yielding both richness and structure. It offers a refined expression of Napa Cabernet powerful yet polished, with great aging potential but also approachable in its youthful state.

• Appearance: Deep ruby with violet hints.
• Nose (Aroma): Aromas of black cherry, cassis, plum, and dark berry fruits; cedar and sweet oak spice; hints of savory herbs, olive and cedarwood.
• Palate (Taste): Rich dark fruit (plum, blackberry) meets layers of vanilla and dark chocolate; balanced by bright acidity; well-integrated tannins that give structure without harshness; subtle undertones of herbs, olive, and cedar.
• Finish: Long, elegant finish: lingering dark fruits, oak spice, slightly savory and herbal notes; persistent tannins that taper off smoothly.
