Appearance: Tawny with warm amber tones, strong leg structure reflecting quality five-year maturation in custom barrels.

Aroma: Sweet and inviting with toasted marshmallow, dark chocolate, and custard leading the way. Sweet dark cherries, butterscotch, and vanilla are prominent. Subtle notes of burnt caramel, milk chocolate, a touch of tart orange, and light cedar add complexity. Relatively mild alcohol vapor despite the 100 proof, showcasing excellent balance. The wheat provides a softer, sweeter aromatic profile compared to high-rye bourbons.

Palate: Rich confectionary flavors dominate with s’mores, toasted almond, and candied fruit creating a dessert-like experience. Butterscotch and sweet caramel are complemented by cherries, subtle burnt caramel, medium-dark milk chocolate, and light dry oak. The high corn content (69%) provides a solid sweet backbone that balances the softer wheat character beautifully. Slightly sweet overall with excellent mouthfeel and coating texture.

Finish: Building mocha and shortbread notes transition to warming black pepper spice that grows to a moderately high level and lingers pleasantly. Subtle cherries remain throughout with light barrel char and dry oak providing structure. Persistent warmth develops in the chest, leaving you ready for the next sip. The finish showcases the complexity achievable with wheated mashbills when properly aged.
