Heaven Hill 90th Anniversary 9-Year Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (750 mL) is a limited-edition release celebrating Heaven Hill Distillery’s 90 years of independent family ownership.

• Mash Bill: Uses Heaven Hill’s traditional recipe — 78% corn, 12% malted barley, and 10% rye.
• Barrel Aging: Aged approximately 9 years and 8 months in a blend of standard and heavy-char “alligator” barrels, which impart deeper wood influence.
• Proof / ABV: Bottled at 107 proof (53.5% ABV).
• Production: Made from 204 specially selected barrels that were filled on December 13, 2015 (Heaven Hill’s 80th anniversary), matured in Rickhouses G and H on upper floors for enhanced maturity.

Tasting Notes

Nose:

• Caramelized sugar and warm vanilla.
• Toasted oak and baking spice.
• A touch of dark fruit or dried fruit, adding subtle complexity.

Palate:

• Rich dark caramel and butterscotch layered with seasoned oak.
• Warm spice and baking notes — cinnamon, maybe some clove or tobacco leaf.
• Depth from the heavy-char barrels: smoky oak, charred wood, and well-integrated sweetness.

Finish:

• Long and warming, with lingering oak and brown sugar.
• Gentle smoke or char echo, and a soft spice that stays on the palate.
