Kilchoman 13 Year Old Limited Edition 50 % ABV 700mL

Second age-stated release from Kilchoman (after their 16 Year Old), distilled at their Islay farm-distillery founded in 2005

Matured for 13 years in a blend of:

• 70 % ex-bourbon barrels
• 20 % bourbon octave (small casks)
• 10 % Calvados apple brandy casks

Tasting Note

Nose: Bright peat smoke intertwined with orchard fruit—lemon sherbet, pineapple, hibiscus, pear, apple, and gentle toffee sweetness

Palate: Full mouthfeel with layers of steamed/stewed pears, tart apples, caramelised puffed wheat, brioche, buttery popcorn, balanced by peat smoke, brine, damp moss, minerality

Finish: Medium to long, ending on malty biscuits, honey, toffee, citrus bursts, with lingering peat smoke, ash, oak spice, baked apple notes
