Bulleit Mesquite Smoked Malt Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky 750ml

Bulleit Bourbon just rewrote its own recipe. For the first time in the brand’s history, rye has been removed from the mashbill — replaced with mesquite wood-smoked malt for a bourbon that tastes like a Kentucky distillery met a Texas BBQ pit. This is a one-time, limited release. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.

Distilled in November 2018 and aged a minimum of six years at Bulleit Distilling Co. in Shelbyville, Kentucky, the result is a rare, smoke-forward bourbon bottled at 93 proof. No artificial flavors. No shortcuts. The smokiness comes entirely from barley dried over burning mesquite wood before the grain ever touches a still.

Tasting Notes

• Nose: Caramelized sugar, warm mesquite smoke, sweet corn, toasted grain
• Palate: Sweet vanilla, brown sugar, oak, caramel, and subtle BBQ-style smoke
• Finish: Light yet lingering — warm, barbecue-inspired, gently sweet
